I keep telling people that although they have a right to their own opinions, not all opinions are created equal. Some opinions are based on accurate observations and valid logic. Other opinions are based on whim, prejudice, conjecture, habit, peer pressure, or random guesswork.
In other words, if you want your opinions to be taken seriously, you'd better be able to substantiate your facts and explain your reasoning.
The leftists can't do that, so they resort to shouting, name-calling, and the old dependable argumentum ad baculum.
